Chill

Just a couple of pictures from our rather chilly walk the other day.  The farm track was - as we have already seen - a very frosty scene.

With Hoar Frost attached to everything, the bare branches were highlighted with thousands of little diamonds, sparkling in the morning sunshine.

Closer to home and the Hawthorn bushes were also gripped by the icy weather and their rich, red fruits looked as if they had been frosted with sugar.  Simply beautiful!
